 Yes, the app is completely free to download from the App Store and Google Play Store. 

We have a Trust & Verification Algorithm.

  1. Geo-validation: The user must physically be in the location to make a report.
  2. Crowd-validation: If one user reports 'Enforcement' and 10 others in the same area don't (or vote 'Not There'), the report is flagged.
  3. Reputation Score: Users with high accuracy gain higher status; spammers are banned

No. Rakan Jalan only accesses your location when you are actively using the app to provide you with real-time alerts and accurate emergency assistance. Your privacy is our priority. 

Our saman alerts are 100% crowdsourced. When a user spots active parking enforcement in an area, they drop a pin on the map. This instantly sends a notification to other Rakan Jalan users nearby so they can avoid a surprise ticket. 

When triggered, the app alerts nearby Rakan Jalan users and allows you to instantly dial emergency services (like 999). It will also put a pin on our map allowing the authorities to know our exact location of the event happening. 

Simply open the "Road Help" tab, select your issue (flat tire, dead battery, tow truck, etc.), and confirm your location. We will connect you with nearby verified mechanics (to be implemented in the future) or community volunteers who can assist you.
